CODRONE GRANT

The Middle School Tech Club was awarded a grant last fall for "CoDrones," which are drones that can be flown manually by following a set of instructions a user creates with a specific coding program. Students have used code to complete several challenges such as landing a drone on points of a shape or flying it through obstacles. They also practiced landing a drone on a specific building or site using simulated locations. The learning possibilities are endless as students are engaged in critical-thinking and teamwork-oriented challenges. The Tech Club meets after school and would not be possible without the following staff: Sarah Gunn, Jacob Ritchie, David Viner, and Shellee Wampole. Great job to these excellent educators for making learning fun and exciting!
